Under supervision of director, clinicians, and milieu therapists, worked as an additional milieu associate working with adolescents that struggle with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, behavioral issues, self-harm, sexual abuse, etc. Patients need more direct 24/7 care. Supervise patients, lead groups, shadow clinicians, and assist in any ways necessary. Sit in on individual and family therapy sessions. Program uses DBT and CBT along with other techniques to help treat substance abuse and mental health. Interact and be involved with patients in the milieu and in groups.
