His diverse and proven leadership success springs from his collegiate years leading the student body of Auburn University as President of the Student Government Association, and then being only the 3rd African American to hold the post, to becoming the first African American partner and shareholder at one of the nation's largest privately held construction firms, Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC. In his senior leadership role, he helped to transform skylines and grow the company in support of its core mission to provide general contracting, design-build, and construction management services for a wide variety of market sectors, including healthcare, commercial, multifamily residential, federal, municipal, industrial, infrastructure, and water/wastewater treatment.Brandon also led Atlanta Housing Authority (AHA) in several executive capacities including President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Commissioner and Executive Board Member as Chair of the Real Estate Committee. AHA is one of the largest housing authorities in North America managing 109 properties, over 12,000 residential units, and serving more than 50,000 residents and participants with a mission to develop, acquire, lease and operate affordable housing for low-income families, mixed-income, mixed-use, and mixed-finance residential communities and provide quality programming for those residents to attain self-sufficient lives.Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Science and Construction Management with honors as a Presidential Scholar from Auburn University, and an International Economic Development Council Advanced Certificate of study in Commercial Real Estate Development and Reuse from the Georgia Institute of Technology.About RS&Co.RS&Co.
