Human Resources System Intern
Worked with 14 countries on the Workday Global Change Management Team to collaborate on change management leadership and pre-launch communication. Conducting global usability testing, preparing employees for the coming changes, and preparing for a smooth implementation process. As I result, we completed phase one of testing, launched the first HUB Workday newsletter and I researched and drafted articles to be used in newsletters following my internship, I created 24 training videos in 5 languages, and built a global digital library of software screen recordings. Applied the skills I gained from my HR employment internship to create and test software localizations ensuring plant HR usability. Increased awareness and excitement around Workday by coordinating and presenting at the first HR Workday Lunch & Learn with about 200 HR employees in attendance, contributed to the newsletter localization section, created and monitored the Workday Learning Survey collecting and organizing data from 50 HR employees, and I built a Change Champion Team of over 40 motivated HR employees who expressed interest on the survey. Autonomously preformed the steps for supplemental employee terminations at 7 plants. Ensuring rightful and timely terminations increasing plant floor efficiency and saving the company money. Communicated with plant generalists and monitored excel daily. Utilized CATS, SOX, and PeopleSoft to validate and process terminations. As a result I processed over 170 absence related terminations overall increasing plant floor efficiency, saving the company money, and reducing the workload for plant HR staff who had preformed these previously.
