As part of my MSc in Organizational Change and Consulting I wrote my thesis for Deloitte, in Rotterdam. I analysed and evaluated current practices within Tax&Legal, as well as Financial Advisory departments. During my research I uncovered which managerial influencing strategies were employed by middle managers in a specific project, and how these strategies were perceived and acted upon by employees. I was awarded an 8 for my research, by RSM. Deloitte has discussed my proposed evaluation and recommendations with me and multiple members of the management board within the organization. My recommendations will yield new discussions during year-end-meetings and have provided a basis for further investigation within Deloitte on my research topic.
