I am from the Bronx, New York and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from West Virginia University. During my undergraduate years I studied abroad in Hatfield, England at the University of Hertfordshire. While abroad I completed business courses and also traveled to several countries. This experience has helped me to adapt in many diverse circumstances. During my senior year, I along with two teammates received honorable Mention in an IDEC competition focusing on the important role of interior design for a healthy work environment; this can be seen in my portfolio. Knowing that I wanted to return back abroad while furthering my education I moved back to London, England to receive a Masters in Historic and Sustainable Architecture from New York University. During my graduate education I have made redevelopment plans for both individual buildings and entire towns, written up a conservation statement, and traveled across the country exploring adaptive reuse and regeneration projects. I plan to complete graduate school by May of 2015 and return back to the United States.I am very eager to use my design skills in the real world and to continue to learn more in the field.
