Support Services Supervisor
Current• Directs and/or develops Bureau-wide plans, policies, and objectives on administrative management activities for the Branch. Plans include forecasts of short- and long-range program needs.• Directs and provides technical and administrative guidance to subordinate staff and contractors in the management of the administrative activities in the Branch.• Exercises managerial and supervisory authority for subordinate staff, including, but not limited to: assigning and reviewing work, establishing positions, selecting candidates for employment and promotion, establishing performance standards and appraises performance, recommending awards, resolving grievances and complaints, identifying training needs, approving leave requests, and supporting EEO affirmative action plans and objectives.• Provides national and regional office managers advice and assistance in all facets of administrative services management for which the Branch is responsible.• Serves as the principal liaison for, and represents the Bureau in dealings with, the Department of Labor, the General Services Administration, and other agencies and committees on all areas of the Bureau's administrative services programs.
