Provide strategic, tactical and operational leadership for the following inline with technology and MTN Group strategy.1. Application rationalization(Journey to cloud) o Migrating to cloud the on-prem ERP that processes over R85b worth of transaction a year o Redesign and Deploy sales performance management(Commissions) servicing all business channels(B2B, B2C, B2E)2. Digitization of the core business functions & processes through automation(RPA) & Chatbots o Target maturity of over 3000 processes by 2023 o Enable innovation with digital approaches to enable quick go to market and or improve business operations3. Boost productivity across the business o Use of technology to support hybrid working model fostering employee collaboration(Power Apps, Power Automate, workflow streamlining)4. Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management o Implement revenue assurance secondary controls using AI & Machine Leaning 5. Operational efficiency o Improve demand and supply forecasting accuracy by 80% by 2022 o Work closely with the CFO, CHRO etc to enable business units strategy6. Budgeting o Manage > R400m CAPEX budget per year o Manage OPEX budget > R50m per year7. Contract Management o IT contracts that reduce costs, enable flexible service consumption, minimize risks and support revenue growth to maximize value. o Vendor management

My responsibilities covered the formulation and implementation of Corporate Systems(ERP, Logistics and Demand Planning) strategy. Furthermore, I also work closely with business to translate business(Finance, Human Resources, Procurement and Supply Chain) needs into IS requirements, engage the rest of IS for delivery and provide technical advice on how to best leverage value from MTN’s infrastructure and application capabilities. Key to my role is the ability to formulate, drive and apply innovative application strategies to support MTN’s current and future business plans, business process improvement, budgeting(CAPEX and OPEX) and delivery of all corporate systems projects.I have had success championing digital transformation and innovation, defining corporate system’s cloud migration strategy and implementing business processes to curb fraud related revenue leakages.Key to my role is Service level management(SLA) and strategic partners(vendor) management, evaluation and monitoring.My role also involves formulating a digital transformation strategy for internal processes, identifying strategic partners to execute the strategy as well as evaluating the impact of the transformation.

Formulate the strategy for ICT platform's, applications and associated processes to support Enterprise, Digital and Wholesale business on all ICT products (IoT, Cloud, Security, etc). Engage customers at an executive level to develop customer strategy and business for ICT products. Provide strategic input in compiling the end to end for ICT products as well as ensuring the development, implementation and maintenance of all policies related to ICT platforms and applications including procurement, distribution and asset management.

I was responsible for the design of enterprise IT architecture and integrations for ERP systems. Provide technical expertise in the design of systems continuity plans, implementation, upgrading and support of the ERP, document management and barcoding systems.Besides implementing and supporting over 7 JD Edwards(JDE) instance my major success in this role was the implementation of the first Software As a Service(SAAS) for Dimension Data. The goal was to offer Small Business access to a cloud ERP solution.
