The current role involves sourcing and supply of LNG by road and storage & fueling of LLNG in vehicles etc. This also covers supply of LNG/GAS to Industries which are far away from the gas pipelines. Supply of bio CNG to retail gas stations will also be the part of the business. These plans are under active stage of implementation.

After retirement I took Consultancy assignments with Messers Essar and worked for 2 years as CEO in Kenya Petroleum Refineries Ltd. (KPRL), Mombasa, Kenya.

Joined Indian Oil Corporation in 1974 at Gujarat Refinery as Graduate Engineer Trainee. Worked in various positions at Gujarat Refinery, Haldia Refinery, Guwahati Refinery, Mathura Refinery and Indian Oil Head Quarter, Delhi.After 3 years stint as Executive Director, Mathura Refinery was appointed as Director (R&D - Indian Oil) in March 2005 and in November 2005 took the charge of Director Planning & Business Development in Indian Oil followed by Chairman with effect from March 2010.
