The heart is a marvelous wonder and everyone has one but few have actually seen the beating muscle at work. My dad got the amazing experience of receiving a heart transplant a few years ago. The hard work for the nurses that helped him through this process really inspired me to want to go into nursing. Their tireless work and dedication to help him get better did not go unnoticed. I have continued my education in the medical field by taking Medical Anatomy and Physiology and Psychology at Spanish Fork High School. I attended MTech my first semester of my senior year in high school and gained my Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate. I was certified in First Aid and CPR as well. I completed an internship with Sanderling Dialysis the last few months of my high school years. This opportunity allowed me to see what kind of an employee I want to be and the dedication it takes to pursue a successful career in the medical field.I aspire to continue my education and work towards gaining a Registered Nurse Certificate. I love learning new things and meeting new people. I strive to help others and make a difference where I can. I pride myself on bringing my own talents to the work place and being a positive asset to the team. I am thrilled for the new things ahead of me and the opportunity to learn more.
