I am a recent graduate from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas in Dallas with a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management. I volunteered in the registration preparation team at the academic affairs office of the Naveen Jindal School of Management. In the team, I met with students from various degrees and assisted them with answering general registration questions. In addition to helping students read and plan schedules using their degree plan, showing students how to navigate ORION and Schedule Planner while also giving information on other programs and degrees within the school of management.I believe that the experience I learned from various volunteering opportunities brings skills that will be valuable to me in this field, regardless of their relatability to my degree, and should not be undervalued. I have volunteered in several food banks where my duties have included organizing, shelving foods, helping others gather their items, and logging various data collected throughout the day into a computer system.I have also completed an Internship at Vision Home Health Care as a healthcare admin. assistant. In the position, my duties included a variety of general administrative tasks. I also assisted in updating and maintaining patient medical records and using the company's software to upload and verify insurance pre-claim requests. I am enthusiastic about the upcoming opportunities and experiences I hope to gain through my education and professional career.
