I have worked in different roles at Blue Boat Company. I started as the team lead in the hospitality department for the first few years. I was responsible for all the guests on board of the ships. After that, I have worked as a Duty Manager for 2,5 years. My core tasks contained delegating, coordination, controlling and organizing operational processes like complaints, catering cruises, reservations and other operational processes. When I was on duty I was in charge of the captains, waitresses and the cashiers. During the Sail 2010 I was responsible for the operational processes for all the ships who were sailing out for three evenings in a row. I worked during the Parade 2009/2010 Amsterdam, where we had a boat sailing from the Stopera to the Parade area. Furthermore I was part of smaller projects for Blue Boat Company like developing new SOP’s.After that I spent some time in the sales department as well.
