I am a passionate wine professional and perpetual learner who is obsessed with connecting with people to share my knowledge and spread the joy and excitement I derive from an amazing glass (or bottle!) of wine.I've gained experience across various levels and positions in both retail and hospitality. My journey began in the beverage industry as a beer retailer, competition judge, Cicerone Beer Server, and Doemens Beer Somm. However, in recent years, I have transitioned my focus exclusively to wine. I have obtained my WSET Level 2 certification and am currently a candidate for both my WSET Level 3 and Society of Wine Educators CSW. Additionally, I am part of the Batonnage 2023 Level 1 Cohort, furthering my wine education.Currently, I am part of the wine buying, selling, and marketing team at 3 Parks Wine Shop in Atlanta. In addition to this role, I balance my time conducting private tastings and supporting leading Atlanta food and beverage establishments such as Staplehouse and Dive.As a vocal and authentic leader, I am deeply committed to promoting female equity within the industry. I have participated in multiple panel discussions addressing topics such as finding one's place within company leadership and negotiating positioning, and I am open to future opportunities in this regard. I firmly believe that the future success of women in the food and beverage industry will be centered around principles of radical candor, intuitive leadership, and ethical communication.
