I am a third-year student at the University of Texas at Austin in the College of Natural Sciences. I am majoring in Human Development and Family Sciences with a certificate in Pre-Health Professions. My passion for working with and wanting to assist people-- coupled with curiosity in medicine-- have lead to an interest in the healthcare field. I aim to be a physician assistant (PA), and I am on the pre-PA track with several related certifications (CET, CPCT-A, and CPR) and membership in the Texas Pre-PA student organization.I am currently employed as a therapy technician at From the Heart Therapy Services, a pediatric occupational therapy clinic. I was also involved in an observational research study at the Priscilla Pond Flawn Child and Family Laboratory as a research assistant. My involvement with children has shown me the importance of analytical and creative thinking, as well as compassion for others. It has allowed me to encounter various backgrounds and mindsets, while simultaneously employing caregiving skills.
