This position was split between two departments: Records Management and the Florida Memory Project. In Records Management I worked independently to process the newly accessioned Patricia Stephens Due collection. I established intellectual control over the collection by going through the contents to learn the material's scope and range while removing hardware and unfolding pages. I arranged the collection by re-foldering the documents into acid free folders, re-boxed the folders into acid free containers. And I described the collection by writing the finding aide and cataloging the information into the archives' database. In the Florida Memory department I digitized the first volume of the Florida Automobile Registration log from 1905 to 1917. While digitally scanning the pages I transcribed and indexed the contents which were then uploaded onto the Omeka website. I was also a regular contributor to the State Archives Facebook page and wrote the articles Florida's First Automobiles and Welcome to Dunedin for the Florida Memory Blog.

Teller Line Supervisor

The teller supervisor performs all the regular duties of the teller such as accepting deposits, withdrawals, and payments, changing money, printing cashier's checks, balancing drawers, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for auditing all of the teller drawers, vault, and ATM, which requires attention to detail and organizational skills. The teller supervisor also handles all cash orders and shipments which are to be approved by the operations manager. The teller supervisor is responsible for delegating tasks to the other tellers, handling customer service issues when needed, and ensuring the overall smooth functioning of the teller line. This position involved the necessary skills of leadership, detail-orientation, and accuracy when dealing with private and confidential information. In addition to the role of supervisor I also served as ProBank's outreach coordinator for a time, which involved organizing the annual food drive, coordinating with third-party organizations, and composing press releases. Lastly, in this position I was a member of the social media management team, authored the social media posting procedures, and contributed to the Facebook and Twitter feeds.
