In my role as a customer-facing advisor, I consistently reached out and communicated with new and existing clients via phone calls, e-mails, travel trade shows and local networking events. I consistently built strong rapport and effectively conveyed the value I added to the entire researching, planning, booking and traveling process for each individual or group. I composed detailed, custom itineraries and comprehensive quotes, lending my expertise in making personal recommendations that best served each client and suited personal preferences including budget. I thoroughly researched various destinations, properties, and travel supplier companies to provide my clients with accurate and detailed information. I am continuously expanding my knowledge of the industry through meeting with owners, managers, and representatives of various travel companies, personal client feedback, educational training, and personal travel experiences.

Worked throughout the spring semester of 2015 as a member the student-led non-profit organization Global Peace Exchange to organize, plan and fundraise for a service trip to Cambodia in the summer of 2015. Spent two months in a rural region of Cambodia called Takeo with a team of four other undergraduate students, working as a volunteer English teacher. As a team we worked together to brainstorm and implement lesson plans and activities for the kids in the three different classes that we taught every weekday.
