• Perform general pharmacist duties including compounding and dispensing drugs and medicines; reviewing prescriptions to identify overdoses and potentially toxic compounds, bottling and packaging prepared compounds and maintaining records of legend and controlled substances.• Provide pharmaceutical care for all patients including prospective, concurrent and retrospective drug utilization review, screening for drug allergies, monitoring interactions and duplications, following up with physicians as appropriate, and counseling patients.• Interact and consult with physicians and staff when necessary to improve quality of care and improve value; and educate physicians and staff regarding cost effective drug therapy.• Train and instruct pharmacy personnel regarding policies/procedures in conjunction with the pharmacy manager and owner.• Comprehend and utilize policies and procedures in billing third party PBMs and audits. Maintain efficient inventory control and purchasing habits.• Serve patients and customers in a friendly, courteous and expeditious manner, which promotes satisfaction and retention, while increasing overall gross sales 40% over a five-year period.
