Britt Simonson works in the Postgraduate Medical Education office as the Accreditation and Educational Development Program Manager at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa in 2007. Britt received her master’s in Education with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts in 2014. She is the 2019 national recipient of the Linda J. Marts Administrator Service award through the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine. Britt has been a member of the Clerkship Directors in Internal Medicine (CDIM) from 2010-2021 and served as Chair for the CDIM Clerkship Administrator Advisory Council (CAAC) in 2015-2016. She was the former Program Manager for the Mentor/Mentee program for CAAC from 2012-2013. She has presented numerous times at the Academic Alliance for Internal Medicine national conferences and was an invited speaker for Association of American Medical Colleges conference in Savannah, Georgia in the spring of 2013. She is a co-founder of the Massachusetts Society of Academic Medical Administrators, now known as the National Society of Academic Administrators and serves as on the board of directors on the Paul Revere Chapter, NSDAR.
