My internship was in the Preventive Cardiology department of the University of Utah Hospital. I was able to work with patients starting in the ICU and moving all the way up to our outpatient rehab programs. I conducted vitals before, during and after prescribed exercise and adjusted their prescriptions throughout their program. I performed 6-min walk tests and treadmill sub-max tests to evaluate their status before, during and after their program duration. We worked closely with physical therapists to improve their results.

Develops fitness programs for Indoor Cycling and Functional Fitness group exercise classes to University of Utah employees throughout the semester. Creates and implements detailed training programs to personal training clients throughout the semester.
