Brittany's passion for journalism and her career started in high school as she joined Community Newspapers, Inc. as an intern for several local newspapers out of the Portland-Metro area. Throughout college, she continued to be highly involved with the university publications including being named publisher of Flux magazine, as well as freelancing for additional publications. In 2007, Brittany was an intern at Conde Nast's Lucky Magazine and after graduating went on to work at a variety of different magazines and newspaper publications. She has since founded two magazines, was a published monthly columnist and has led editorial for several publications. Her passion for expanding her local community's tourism industry led her to a position as the county's economic developement event planner where she coordinated multiple county-wide events, hosting up to 20,000 people. Brittany went on to further promote her community's tourism industry by writing and developing content for the local destination marketing organization, Experience Roseburg. She is passionate about people, craves growth, sets vision, and loves new and challenging tasks.
