As a Registered Behavior Therapist, I provide individualized therapy to clients with behavioral challenges,  while utilizing evidence-based, therapeutic techniques to address specific behavioral goals. The client, their caregivers, myself, and my BCBA, work together as a team to ensure consistency, as well as comprehensive support.My duties as an RBT include but are not limited to: 1. Implement behavior intervention plans via positive reinforcement, developed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst to help individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities improve their behavior and social skills. 2. Collect and record data on client’s progress towards specific goals outlined in their behavior intervention plans. 3. Conduct discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, and other evidence-based behavior therapy techniques to teach new skills and reduce problem behaviors. 4. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other members of the client’s treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing behavior intervention strategies across different settings. 5. Provide feedback and support to parents and caregivers on how to implement behavior intervention strategies at home and in the community. 6. Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to review client progress, discuss behavior challenges, and receive ongoing education on evidence-based behavior therapy techniques. 7. Follow ethical guidelines and professional standards outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and maintain client confidentiality at all times. 8. Assist in the development of behavior support plans and behavior intervention strategies based on the principles of ABA. 9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, behavior data, and any changes in behavior intervention plans. 10. Participate in ongoing professional development activities to expand knowledge and skills in the field of ABA.

Lead Teacher responsible for the care and instruction of two-year-olds.Following two years as the lead teacher for two-year-olds, I was promoted to the role of lead teacher for three-year-olds. While the core responsibilities remained consistent, my duties expanded to include increased teaching responsibilities and overall accountability.Job duties include but are not limited to: 1. Led potty training efforts for young children, employing positive reinforcement methods and maintaining open communication with parents for consistency and optimal results. 2. Designed and delivered personalized lesson plans, utilized diverse teaching strategies, monitored student progress, and collaborated with colleagues to enhance teaching practices. 3. Overseeing classroom applications, and facilitating communication between teachers and parents. 4. Daily operations such as opening and closing the learning center, handling payments, preparing reports on accidents, observations, and incidents. 5. Proficient in maintaining food, health, and safety standards, administering medication, and possessing CPR certification. 6. Implemented engaging teaching strategies for students, managed classroom dynamics effectively, and maintained a fun and positive classroom environment.
