Began as a farm hand volunteer in 2017 and shortly after became a working crew member in 2019. Brittany played a critical role in the production, harvest and distribution of crops, and helped build customer relations with CSA members in the farm store. Brittany worked to promote the farm through social media platforms- increasing the Farm's visibility in the Granby community and beyond. She also worked with a team to assemble and distribute CSA deliveries.

Began as Teaching Artist at Parkville Community School for Moving Matters! program. Quickly promoted to Director of Community Engagement. Acted as first point of contact for the organization and as liaison to all affiliated organizations and partners, as well as the Board of Directors. Builds the organization’s profile throughout the community and beyond, disseminating findings on the impact of JDPP programs. Provides and expands outreach to, and coordination of, arts residencies in urban schools and within populations affected by incarceration all while engaging diverse sectors of the community as participants and supporters. Gathers feedback from projects, create survey tools, and combine program outcomes for summary reports. Participates in edits for grant writing and contributes to interim and final reports. Grows funding, donor, volunteer, and mentor pools. Solicits new venues for performance and residencies/bookings for programs. Helps coordinate office staff and participates in financial and budget planning and review. Instrumental in establishing annual projected budgets with the Executive Director and updating them as the year progresses. Assists with marketing and design projects and press releases; such as website redesign, creation of collateral for programs, editing press releases, and marketing and sponsorship packages for events. Planned and coordinated fundraiser event with 200 attendees for premiere of CPTV documentary at Hartford Public Library. Guests included Governor Dannel Malloy and First Lady and CT Office Of The Arts Kristina Newman Scott (Director of Culture). Created a cohesive internship program and managed intern cohorts. Maintains local and state licenses for the organization.

Teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced dance to classes of 8-20 students at the high school and middle school levels. Create curriculum combining dance history and theory with skills development and performance. Differentiate lesson plans, collaborate with other instructors, and communicate with parents to ensure both ensemble and individual success. Choreograph 2 pieces for the Winter Dance Concert and assist with class placement auditions and stage management.

Attract entrepreneurs, business mentors, and institutions to join reSET’s social entrepreneurship incubator. Develop, market and sell coworking memberships to small businesses of 1-10 employees and develop and manage partner network of local corporations and institutions who support and collaborate with local entrepreneurs and small businesses. Manage semiannual internship program, connecting 8-14 talented college students with education and employment experiences at member businesses. Measure and report on success of coworking space through custom metrics and qualitative data. Write and publish content for blog and social media accounts. Assist with administrative duties, including organizational finance, billing, and expenses. Worked with Partnership & Development Directors to gain grant writing and development skills while building strategic partnerships. Directly responsible for 125+ members.

Supervised and supported on-floor 62 Cashiers and managed response to customer volume and satisfaction. Attended regional trainings, assisted with the marketing department, performed inventory, on floor selling, visual displays, holiday order table, cashier duties, job dialogues, end of day reports, ordering supplies and promotional merchandise, mastered cash up operations. Mastered the educator position in all of its aspects including: successful new hire orientations, developed training programs, coordinated field trips, mentored team members, ServSafe Proctor/Instructor certified, supported community events, hosted and organized vendor visits, conducted regional monthly trainings, awarded Rising Star honor twice, awarded team member of the month six times.
