Write, review and edit content for online high school and college math courses on an as-needed basis. Roles have included:- Designing a personal finance course for high school students. - Designed a sports statistics course for high school students. - Reviewed and revised a college algebra course to ensure the content meets accreditation standards and recommendations.- Reviewed, revised and authored new content for two separate tracks of high school algebra, geometry, and statistics/probability courses. One track is aligned to the Common Core State Standards, and the other is designed to ensure college and career readiness. - Reviewed mathematics content in the course Math for Pharmacy Technicians.

- Supporting the evaluation of UNICEF's Support for School Enrolment (SSE) Programme in Turkey as an education specialist, which involves designing methodology and data collection tools, collecting and analyzing data, and reporting. - Previously supported the evaluation of UNICEF's Syrian Support Workers (SSW) Programme in Turkey in the same capacity.

Provided quality assurance for the midterm performance evaluation of USAID’s education portfolio in Nigeria by reviewing data analysis and reports produced by the evaluation team.

- Supported the evaluation of the multi-sectoral WFP/UNICEF Joint Resilience Programme in South-Central Somalia, focusing on the education sector (2023-24).- Supported research commissioned by NRC on the barriers that displaced children in Iraq face to accessing educational opportunities and civil documentation (2022).- Conducted an external evaluation of NRC Libya non-formal education (NFE) programming (2022).

Developed math teaching and learning materials aligned to the Nigerian national curriculum for primary grades, including scope and sequences, teacher guides, and learner books.

Conducted a baseline learning assessment for the Multi-Year Resilience Program (MYRP) project in Iraq funded by Education Cannot Wait (ECW), which involved measuring the learning levels of children in numeracy, literacy, and social-emotional learning.

Developed a teacher training toolkit on early grade math that is adaptable to multiple country contexts. Toolkit includes modules on growth mindset, teaching aids, teaching methods, formative assessment, lesson planning, teaching specific math domains, and planning teacher training.

Designed and revised curriculum materials for out-of-school children living in camps in Syria, which are aligned to the Syrian formal curriculum for grades 1-6. Wrote math and science teacher guides, and revised all math, science, English, and life skills teaching guides to ensure standardization. Wrote learning assessments for all subjects and grades.

Advised EDT, partners and donor FCDO on strategies to improve mathematics learning outcomes for lower primary grades in Rwanda, where instruction is in the second language of English.

Supported the development of UNICEF-funded interactive audio instruction (IAI) for children in Zambia, which is aligned to the formal math curriculum for grades 1-7 and designed to address learning gaps caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.Supported USAID Accelerated Quality Education (AQE) for Liberian Children during 2018-2021:- Developed math teacher guides and student workbooks for 3 years of accelerated instruction aligned to grades 1-6.- Developed teacher training materials to support implementation of the AQE math curriculum.- Supported the design of math radio programming during the COVID-19 pandemic. - Supported adaptation of the AQE curriculum for students and teachers with visual impairments. - Supported handover of the AQE program to the Ministry of Education.

- Developed minimum standards and benchmarks to ensure harmonized programming for UNICEF partners in Syria under the Education Cannot Wait (ECW) program. - Mapped student learning assessment tools and practices used by organizations in Syria.

Adapted a functional numeracy curriculum that I developed with IRC Sierra Leone to be used by a similar FCDO-funded project in Kenya targeting out-of-school girls.

Developed numeracy framework and curriculum materials to support the continuity of learning for Ugandan primary school students affected by COVID-19.

Supported third-party monitoring of education projects in Syria, including development of research methodology, tools and reports.

Supported several education projects in Sierra Leone, including:-Developed functional numeracy curriculum for out-of-school adolescent girls as part of the DfID-funded Girls' Education Challenge.-Managed the development of teaching guides and student workbooks for 7 years of junior and senior secondary math instruction; these books are currently being used in public schools.- Supervised local subject matter experts and curriculum authors, providing training, technical guidance and professional development support. - Developed a math teacher training package for primary (grades 1-3) school teachers.

Authored mathematics textbooks and teaching guides for pre-service teacher training, to be used by teacher education colleges in Myanmar.

Conducted research for UNICEF on curriculum, accreditation and certification of formal and non-formal education programming in Syria, and presented findings in a report.

- Lead the development of an education sector strategy for actors in opposition-held areas of Syria as part of an EU-funded governance project.- Conducted research on current education governance structures through focus group discussions, surveys, and interviews with stakeholders including authorities, school leaders, teachers, parents, and NGOs.

Supported the handover of a community center with education programming for Syrian refugee children to ASAM, a local Turkish organization.Compiled and updated material related to education, child protection, and community center management, including informal education and life skills curriculum, PSS materials and guidelines, and outreach guidance.

Worked with several different groups of Liberian women and youth as well as Ivorian refugee women to organize and implement projects focusing on a variety of topics such as nutrition, agriculture, sewing, soap-making, computer literacy, and income generation. Wrote grant proposals and received assistance for these projects. Brought together key players from the local and international community to ensure sustainability.
