As the Public Information Officer (Communications Advisor) for Edmonton Fire Rescue Services, I was responsible for advancing the reputation and brand of the fire department including strategic communications (internal and external), media relations (acting as spokesperson, delivering internal media training to staff, managing the after-hours on-call.
