GIS Specialist on a 6-month project with the geoscience group to develop a front end web portal for all corporate well data and well documents using the GeoCortex web mapping platform. This project followed the AGILE development methodology and had numerous touch and integration points with several other key systems internal to Devon. I was responsible for the GeoSpatial component of the project which involved the initial requirements gathering, architecture setup, map and GUI development, GIS workflow and tool development, and training for the initial users of the HTML 5 web mapping application.

Identification and classification of man made structures along a pipeline for the purpose of risk calculations, within a GIS environment. For this project I took a project management type roll, where I was responsible for training a group of individuals in GIS and pipeline structures collection as well as providing technical support to these individuals during the projects various phases. I was also responsible for the Quality checking and fine tuning of the data before it was delivered to the client. This involved a rigorous data integrity check as well as the creation of a custom mapping set. 3. Automation and procedural development of a series of pipeline alignment sheets. This job required generation of several different complicated spatial models, FME workbenches, minor scripting and macro components, as well as a procedural document outlining step by step instructions used in the process. The end goal was to combine Field verified survey data, engineering drawings, environmental information, and land management information in various data types and formats into a single pipeline alignment sheet, tailored specifically to the client’s requirements.
