As the Pathway to College Program and Career Readiness Director, I work to ensure that students at each of our three high schools in East San Jose have access and support to pursue a broad range of opportunities after graduation, including higher education, technical and vocational programs, certificate programs, and diverse career opportunities. I lead the College and Career Department to create and implement structures and resources so that students will receive information at each grade level to best prepare them to pursue opportunities after high school and be successful in those, particularly continuing their education to have as many career opportunities as possible. I am passionate about centering our work around data and research. We consistently survey students and staff to collect their feedback as well as produce detailed reports about our student outcomes after high school. I use this data regularly to facilitate conversations with our school sites about how we can improve our programming to improve these results. As Director, I work hard to create a thoughtful, productive, creative, and collaborative space for my team, where feedback goes both ways and candor is practiced.

As a Partnership Director at EOS I directed 17 schools across multiple districts in their implementation of EOS's model to enroll more low-income and students of color into AP and IB courses. I created internal organizational systems and external systems to ensure that partners understood the data and tools provided, utilized them to their fullest potential, and successfully closed their opportunity gap in AP/IB courses.Additionally, I assisted with the management and professional development of the Partnership Associate Team by providing training, career pathway opportunities, and mentorship. Alongside a colleague, I directed and executed an analysis on the workflow of the Partnership Associate position(s) in order to provide clarity to leadership and the organization as a whole, and re-invent the position so it more closely aligned with our mission and needs.

At Summit Public Schools I have participated in a wide array of tasks, including strategic planning for student recruitment, targeted media outreach and community engagement, data collection and analysis for student demographics in the Seattle area for targeted outreach, the production of organizational newsletters to internal and external partners and generation relevant analytics for improvement. I have also had the opportunity to develop Summit Washington's initial strategic social media plan to target families, partner organizations, and community members. I've managed intern recruitment and overseen intern projects, providing feedback and deadlines, and managed student enrollment documentation, including communication and coordination with guardians. Throughout my time at Summit I provided support to the Chief Regional Officer and School Leaders.

As a graduate school intern I had the opportunity to work on a federal education grant, as well as assisted with the development of Summit's strategy around community engagement and student recruitment. I assisted the Chief Regional Officer with day-to-day operations and ensured that the office was running smoothly.

I collected district spending, demographic, test score, and teacher salary data in order to perform an in-depth analysis of spending across schools within the district and present it to the deputy superintendent. I then interpreted analysis results to identify implications and explore best practices.As I was performing the analysis, I produced relevant PowerPoint presentations and memos capturing findings for a variety of stakeholders.I also assisted a Seattle Public School District Board Member with various research projects, including providing information on what implications "late start" would have on students, parents, and other community members.

Worked in the Registration and Academic Records department to manage various winter and summer programs, including the Winter Intersession program and Summer Abroad programs. Provided daily services to law students and professors. Assisted the department in transferring archived student records from paper to a database.

Managed this start-up visual effects office, which included creating processes to track expenses, coordinate multiple calendars, and maintain vendor and client records. Provided direct support to the Executive Producer, artists, and technicians. Provided technical support including compressing and uploading digital files, creating slates and tape labels, and tracking all project deliveries. Managed all client services operations.
