I was responsible for the investigation, negotiation an settlement of Accident Benefit claims. It was my job to ensure that our policyholders claims were handled in an accurate and fair manner while upholding the standards of the Statutory Accident Benefit Schedule of Ontario.

While my time was short at Diamond Back, the leadership experience gained was very beneficial. I was in charge of a staff of 8-10 servers, ensuring they met the Club Link standards of serving our members. Aside from managing the day to day activity in The Bistro, I was also responsible for the set up and smooth operation of each event held at the club. This included table set up, décor, ensuring there was appropriate staffing levels, bartending when required and clean up.

I was a jack of all trades during my time at Jack Astors. From Serving to bartending, and expo and prep cooking, you name it and I did it. I started out as a dining room server, as most do at Jacks, and quickly worked my way up to bartender when I was given the opportunity to compete in the annual Bartender Competition. From there I kept working my way up to Supervisor and ended up taking over a big chunk of our bar managers duties, like our weekly bar inventory and bartender scheduling.
