I'm Brittany Trang, a scientist turned science journalist.I'm a health tech reporter at STAT News, where I cover AI in healthcare. Previously, I covered health care business (ie, hospitals, health insurance) for STAT, and prior to that, I was a Sharon Begley Science Reporting Fellow there, where I've covered everything from at-home flu tests to artificial intelligence to drug approvals. I was a 2021 AAAS Mass Media Fellow at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. My writing has appeared in publications such as Billboard, Undark, and Chemistry World.
