I'm a Midwest gal who's followed her need for 24/7 sunshine to the West Coast. I’m also a writer with an eclectic background who’s parlayed her love of human connection into a professional career. I write words that entertain, educate, and empower others. I’m all the things an employer might want to hear: self-starting, detail-oriented, dedicated, and enthusiastic. And I’m some they don’t want to hear: real thorough. (We’re workin’ on it.)I have experience ranging from creative campaign development to technical-focused writing and design. I've executed existing visions and conceptualized my own for brands, artists, and orgs, including a web series about two girls trying to grow up while raising their crazy, disabled parents (Raising Adults) and a series of hilariously bizarre music videos for a band whose personality rivals their talent. (Imagine if John Waters and the Foo Fighters had a baby.) I'm also working on a feature-length documentary about chronic pain, ONE OF MANY, based on my lived experience as a caretaker.
