I tutored children from first grade through high school in mathematics. We were assigned small groups of 3-5 students, or one-on-one.

Teen court is a real court of law, where first time offenders are sentenced by a jury of their peers. During my time with teen court I participated as a jury member, a prosecuting attorney, defense attorney, and judge.As a prosecuting attorney I: + researched, and collaborated with a practicing attorney in order to prepare a case against the defendant+ brought witnesses to the stand and questioned the witnesses and cross-examined the defendant in order to uncover the truth + presented my case against the defendant, with recommended sentencingAs a defending attorney I:+ met with my client and with mentoring attorneys in order to best represent them in the court+ prepared a case for my client in order to get them what was just + presented my case in front of the courtAs a jury member I:+ took on the role as a foreperson in order to make sure that everyone's opinion was expressed in deliberation+ debated the presented evidence to work with the other jury members to find a just sentence for the defendant.
