The 1990 Farm Bill created NUCFAC to bring together the wide variety of voices raised about a common concern: the present health and future preservation of America's urban forests. NUCFAC was founded to synthesize the full spectrum of views into a consistent vision, as a foundation for practical policy on urban forestry.

Core team member of the working group that created the City’s first-ever climate adaptation/resiliency plan and climate action plan update. Lead Community Forester volunteer training program, including curriculum development, teaching classes, and organizing and leading volunteer pruning events. Maintained more than 200 tree service licenses. Managed contracts for nursery stock, tree installations, tree pruning and removal, pesticide treatments and marketing.
