Leaving Miami University and moving back home was ROUGH. I was confused, young, and grasping at straws to find my place in this crazy world. That is likely where my love from Friends really took off - I was watching myself on the screen fumble through life with my friends and family to support me just like the five characters I hold so dear.I was working at an insurance brokerage during the day and a restaurant at night - I had a decision to make, which career did I want to develop? I dove into the restaurant world headfirst. I was a people person, who loved my team, and had an amazing management team I looked up to and wanted to follow in their footsteps. I grew from a hostess to an assistant manager, opening a new restaurant for my company in just a few years.The next chapter of my life all started when it was time to grow my family. I finished out my restaurant career and began the job search for a 9-5, corporate job so I could spend more time with my newborn and partner - and looking back, I couldn't be happier where that decision led me: EMI Research Solutions! I started as an Administrative Assistant and Executive Assistant to the CEO Mike Holmes. I learned so much in my years by his side, and I took my true jump into market research when I was promoted to an Associate Research Manager. I’m newer to the role and SO ready to learn. I’ve found a true passion in this industry and would love any and all advice experts can offer me!
