I used to be a skeptic of automation, I thought it removed the relational touch. Then I learned that, when done well, automation can enhance the relational touch by freeing up time and energy to engage with clients.I spent most of my professional life in nonprofits and small businesses. I love the work I got to do in both of these sectors but often found myself frustrated spending time on administrative or tedious tasks when I wanted to be spending it changing the world or focusing more on clients and customers.
