Brianna’s Marketing Experience:I am a self-directed marketing consultant with over 6 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration. I have In-depth knowledge and hands on experience in marketing research, campaign management, graphic design, and managing multiple social media accounts from freelance consulting for companies and organizations in the sports, beauty, fashion retail, boating, non-profit, and automotive industries. I also have marketing knowledge from competing in various case and pitch competitions for companies such as Amazon, Burlington, Fenty, AIG, and Aon. I have certifications in Amazon Adverting Sponsored Ads, HubSpot Digital Advertising, TRAQ-IT Certification, and CVent University Supplier Network. Some of my administrative roles in marketing include holding a position on the Student Marketing Advisory Board at Howard University and serving as a marketing & events logistics leader for General Motor’s Vehicle Safety campaign led by Howard University’s Marketing Communications class in 2020.Brianna’s Merchandising Experience:I am currently an Assistant Planner for Macy’s Backstage. I began my career in merchandising as a visual merchandising/design assistant intern for Shoshanna in 2016. Then moved on to internships with Black Retail Action Group (BRAG) and Macy’s in June 2020. Shortly after I began my full time merchandising career by participating in the Macy’s Executive Development Program in June 2021. My merchandising skill set includes knowledge of Excel &Tableau, forecasting sales, budgeting, building relationships with buyers and vendors, and using sales data to tell a story about customers. Brianna’s Fashion Design Experience:My knowledge of Fashion Design started in 2013 when I attended High School of Fashion a industries where I learned skills in Garment draping & construction, Fashion Illustration & Graphic Design, Trend Forecasting, and Fashion Show Production. I then used my knowledge of design to start an alterations business called Pinned by Bri while being a full-time student at Howard University. While attending HU I completed courses in product marketing, consumer behavior, and Fashion History. As of recent I have completed my certification in Fashion Design Management from Cornell University.
