Developing a sensor suite for large scale data collection of Canada’s harsh winter road network.- Designed a ROS2-compatible user interface capable of running, debugging, visualizing, and recording sensor data.- Integrated a depth camera, LiDAR, IMU, and GPS with ROS2, tested functionality with Gazebo simulation software and in various outdoor environments.- Collaborated with government researchers to provide technical advice on project scope, objectives, and focus areas

Developed a sensor payload to enhance the autonomous capabilities of a helicopter.- Successfully implemented a sensor suite with a Nvidia Jetson GPU for data visualization and management. The sensor suite included a camera (RGB and Thermal), LiDAR, IMU, and Radar.- Troubleshooted and tested the payload with state-of-the-art localization algorithms using embedded computing, Linux, ROS, and GitHub.- Synchronized data using communication protocols, microcontrollers, and circuit analysis to improve payload accuracy.
