As a sales engineer, I am responsible for the technical relationships with current and prospective customers and work internally with sales and product development to identify and communicate solutions to meet customers' business needs. I also act as a resource for the sales and customer success teams, our front-line technical support team, and other functional departments within the company.

Helped end users of github.com and GitHub Enterprise alike learn how to successfully use our platform to not only build better software, but to build it with their teams successfully.

At Plum District, I primarily focused on back end development of our Ruby on Rails stack. Tasks included bug fixes, day to day task optimization for sales/marketing team, and working on building our API as well as building clients to use it.I primarily focus on Ruby but html/css/javascript are not foreign to me.

Assisted with work on GitHub:Firewall Install (later/currently named GitHub:Enterprise)

My job varied from day to day from testing our product/game Spymaster to dealing with customers one on one to developing new features. "Many-Hats" kind of job.
