As CRA’s Director of Investment Research, he is responsible for developing analysis that promotes and stimulates CRA’s mission to identify research-driven investments. He develops analytics that act as a catalyst and support acquisitions, asset management, investor relations, co-investment partner meetings and portfolio performance reviews. He is also involved with assisting underwriting and due diligence. Prior to joining CRA, Mr. Johnson was a Pinnacle Broker with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., specializing in top down research and investment strategies combined with technical and tax analysis to help build and maintain high-net-worth client portfolios. This top down research approach to investments translates directly to CRA’s approach to identifying undervalued priced assets and opportunities in selected submarkets within primary and secondary markets of focus across the country. Since joining CRA in May 2014, his research has assisted in over $1.4b in acquisitions and dispositions. In the past, Brock has been a regular speaker at career fairs at his alma-mater, Colorado State University School of Business, where he received his undergraduate degree in Finance/Real Estate with emphasis on Investment Analysis.
