Building Inspection is crucial to insure the safety of a building and its surroundings. When you enter a home or a commercial building how often do you stop and look around and notice things that may or may not be up to code and safe. The role of an inspector is to ensure that a building is built right and is able to protect the occupants from anything, from a natural disaster or even a fire. This career is very rewarding in the way that I know that one hundred years down the road, the building I inspected will still be standing strong and protecting the family living inside. My goals are very specific. I hope to be residential 4 way certified by summer of 2022 and commercial 4 way certified by spring of 2023. Part of what has inspired me to have such ambitious goals is my mom, she is the strongest most driven person that I know and I try to mold myself everyday to be more like her.
