I began my career during high school by working in retail at Woolworths, where I developed exceptional communication skills and honed techniques for building rapport. Later, I ventured into a field of work that was relatively new to Australia, and I am proud and honored to have been a part of it. Later, I took on two jobs as a trades assistant/laborer. These roles provided valuable experience in implementing solutions to increase equipment uptime and meeting project specifications with precision.During my last job as a trades assistant with CIVMEC, I decided to pursue a career in tech with a focus on cybersecurity. In my opinion, this is unquestionably the most captivating field. To achieve this, I began by mastering the fundamentals of networking with CompTIA Network+ certification. Next, I plan to obtain CompTIA's Security+ and CySA+ certifications to validate the knowledge and skills I've gained through TryHackMe and Forage Job Simulators. After these will be CompTIA's Pentest+ to further understand the thought process of Threat Actors and let's face it, penetration testing is fun!I see myself in the future owning and running a cybersecurity-focused firm that offers solutions for cyber-related issues, incident response, and implements the strongest defense-in-depth strategies threat actors will ever encounter. Additionally, our firm will provide the best and most easily understandable education to help the next generation safely navigate the internet. We will also provide education to companies and businesses, explaining how targeted social engineering, phishing, and spear phishing are evolving alongside the social norm of sharing personal details on social media platforms.
