Being a chef and restaurant manager for 20 years has rewarded me with both immense pleasures and incredible challenges, and no challenge has been greater than navigating the 2020 pandemic. Yet, as restaurants slowly begin to recover, I find myself with an incredible opportunity--to regroup and rebuild with the with the Tom Douglas Restaurant group. I couldn't be more excited to contribute once again to the company that taught me what deliciousness and graciousness is all about.All phases of restaurant operations bring me joy. Whether I'm standing over an apple-wood fired grill crisping the skin of freshly-caught salmon, mentoring a team member, fixing a sink, or sweeping the floor, all things restaurant truly fills my cup.I believe that active coaching and continuous feedback builds both strong teams and a healthy work environment. Although my management style is always evolving, my objective never changes-- to inspire others in the pursuit of excellence.
