• Responsible for the up keep of the in-house lighting/audio equipment & permanent theatre fittings (e.g. lighting bars, Dimmer Packs, Fly floor). • Design & Rigging of lighting treatments to the needs of visiting companies/shows/acts. • The programming of the lighting board as well as the set up & patching of the Sound desk & audio equipment.• The operation of the lighting Board & the running of the sound system (Mix), within a show environment.

• Manage the forward planning of staffing levels to ensure a smooth running, planned operation – taking into account (amongst others) holiday time requested by staff, expected visitor footfall numbers & marrying up specialist staff skills with when they are required.• Responsible for controlling costs & expenses through responsible ordering & management of departmental resources.• Responsible for the up-keep, maintenance regime & proper use of Audio Visual equipment including amongst others: Radio Microphone system • Feedback Destroyers • Rack mounted Amp array • 2 x Digital audio mix processors. A part of this responsibility was to maintain all equipment involved in - & guarantee the reliable streaming of - live video via a remotely controlled sub-aqua camera; then digitally projected on to a big screen for an audience of up to 500 people.
