Currently an MD candidate at the University of Alberta. I'm extremely excited about developing a career in healthcare and leveraging my previous skills to tackle tough problems in patient care and community health. Previously a fullstack software developer at RS Energy Group in Calgary Alberta where I contributed to a large SaaS analytics platform providing business intelligence to the global energy industry.In the past I worked as a software engineering intern at White Whale Analytics, where I contributed to an AI analytics engine called DeepSea. Throughout this experience I worked with other interns on a variety of tasks, getting exposure to both the frontend and backend of the system.I also had the opportunity to spend time as a summer student at TransCanada, where I was a member of the CyberSecurity team. This position provided exposure to the security needs involved in software development, and the workflow within a large company. In this role I spent time developing an automation engine for phishing email detection with C# and the .NET framework. I was also responsible for threat intelligence, which involved hunting down and investigating malicious connections in the network.
