As the director of Flickerfest for the past 25 years Bronwyn has curated hundreds of short film programmes for both the festival, its national touring programme and many other international film festivals and for broadcast and digital channels including the Flickerfest Collection on SBS On Demand . For many years from 2000 to 2015 she was on of the management committee members of the International Short Film Conference [ISFC], the international body that advises on short film festivals and protocol. Bronwyn has participated on the jury of many respected short film competitions internationally including the World Wide Short Film Festival Toronto Canada, Grimstad Norway and the International Short Film Festival of Drama Greece. In 2002 Bronwyn founded the Flickerfest short film bureau to distribute Australian short films internationally. The Flickerfest Short Film Bureau now represents over 180 of Australia’s best shorts and has successfully made many sales to all known territories and broadcasters worldwide. An independent short film and documentary maker for the past 26 years her producer/ director credits include 1 hour documentaries 'Walking With My Sisters' about the Arakwal people of Byron Bay and their Native Title claim & 'Beachballs' about the Bondi community and the 2000 Olympic beach volleyball stadium. Both have been screened on SBS. She has also produced the short film ‘Search’ which was selected for Sydney, Creteil and Odense film festivals & screened on Showtime Australia.She was the EP of short film series 1 and 2 of Flickerfest on EXTRA screened on Movie EXTRA.
