Hello! I'm a journalist and editor currently based in Melbourne.I've spent the last 20 years working on dozens of titles for as many companies, both freelance and full-time. Starting my career as a music journalist, a subject that remains my life-long passion, I worked at both Juice and Rolling Stone magazines early on, and have remained a freelance music writer for Sydney's leading broadsheet newspaper The Sydney Morning Herald and associated publications.I've spent this time as a copy editor, working on everything from trade titles in small publishing houses to high-circulation national titles at major companies. I've managed large teams at News Corp as a newspaper section editor, and small teams in my roles as chief copy editor at various publications. I've also spent many years working independently as a freelance copy editor and writer.I love nailing a good headline, perfect copy, a team that inspires and delivering the best content possible.
