Leadership roles throughout my experiences have defined who I am and gifted me with the experience and love for thorough communication and public speaking. Being an extroverted, passionate, and dedicated DVM student drives my desire to gain even MORE experience in the veterinary world through the summer months of 2024. With the right place and people, I hope to make long lasting connections that will benefit both of us in the future!With 600+ veterinary shadowing and working hours, I have gained animal care & veterinary experience with horses, dogs, cats, wildlife, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I have experience both in general practice and emergency animal care with all these animals.A list of extracurriculars highlights my other animal experience: CA High School Rodeo for 7 years, 4-H Livestock Market and Showmanship Competitions, and personal pet ownership of ducks, chickens, parakeets, dogs, cats, and horses.My interests are small animal general practice and exotic companion animal medicine. I am also interested in learning more about Integrative Medicine, particularly getting more exposure to acupuncture and laser therapy in practice!
