As the head of Finance I have built up our annual planning cycle, and have worked closely with the executive team on 5-year strategy and 1-year operations plans. I work closely with the head of accounting to ensure that new business cost and revenue is properly planned. The finance team is heavily engaged in the month end process, helping with coding and accruals. We report financials on a monthly basis and update the forecast quarterly. In addition to Finance, I also lead Business Systems. This team is actively involved in the automation of business process and systems integration. Current projects include integration of a sales tax system and AP system with NetSuite and Quote to Cash using SaleForce and its partner portal.
