Hello I'm Brooke Ensor. I've worked for the City of Marysville for 15 years in the Surface Water and GIS divisions. Currently I oversee the NPDES Permit program. I coordinate all aspects of Permit compliance. In the 2019 Permit term I successfully secured two Department of Ecology grants to fund new programs. I'm currently the project manager for both programs.In the Surface Water group I also manage the wetland monitoring program for capital improvement projects. Depending on the complexity of the site, I conduct the monitoring myself or contract with consultants to complete the monitoring. In 2013 I wrote an agreement and monitoring plan accepted by the Army Corps of Engineers and Department of Ecology for a City wetland bank. This bank will provide estuary wetland credits for future capital projects. I have a background in GIS using ESRI software. This background has proved very useful to our group for achieving NPDES Permit compliance. GIS is central to our asset management system. The ability to do basic quires of our system and make maps has streamlined our maintenance processes. In my free time I like to get outdoors and travel. I live in the Marysville area and spend time with my husband and two kids kayaking, snowboarding and hiking. I've been to over twenty countries. Scuba diving on the great barrier reef in Australia was one of my favorite trips.
