From 2019-2020, I wrote and edited 6 drafts of my first novel, SPARKS, a sci-fi piece sitting around 100,000 words. In 2020 I wrote a 75k word novella in 30 days.

Made 40 retention calls a day to spur organizational activity from members. Wrote retention emails using successful business writing methods, ultimately securing meetings with prospects. Tracked and researched new leads for BioPharmaceutical companies in a database system, including finding hard-to-obtain email addresses and phone numbers. Averaged finding 30 new companies for membership leads per day and entering their data, in addition to making regular retention calls. Maintained and cleaned up data a database for easy use. Ensured proper formatting was in place for email forms. Aided with setting up Meet the State event, which allows Chamber Members to talk with and hear lectures from elected officials. This included setting up cards, packing event materials, and organizing attendees with the Marketing department.

Communicated effectively with constituents and concerned citizens, often soothing angry callers and changing their perspective on my Congressman and office. Sorted 300-400 letters a day in the mail program, never leaving work with unsorted mail, and never allowing mail older than 3 days old to be unsorted.Attended committee hearings such as the Helsinki Commission meeting on anti-semitism in Europe, and environmental hearings, and composing memos to the appropriate staff members.

Responsible for 20+ horses for morning and noon chores, fed horses and performed turn­ins, cleaned stalls and paddocks, taught young children horse care, handled clients, managed time accurately in stressful situations. As well, I aided my trainer in retraining ex-racehorses into excellent eventers, successfully retraining 4 horses in my time here.
