This role requires me to provide private instruction to individual or small groups of students in multiple business-related courses to improve academic learning and study habits and prepare for academic testing. I am able to track progress in order to identify opportunities to enhance tutoring methods and help students achieve their goals. While working at PepsiCo, I had the opportunity to work on-site at the Atlanta production plant. I spent the first few weeks on a rotational program throughout the entire plant. Attending to customers and provide appropriate recommendations based on customer need is vital to customer satisfaction. As an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, I deliver and instruct lectures and labs to classes of approximately 75 students This role allows me to accommodate professors and lab instructors in teaching and creating geology lab presentations, projects, and experiments. I also work to monitor and provide support to students throughout lectures and testing. This job has taught me valuable time management skills as I learn to manage two other jobs as well. Leadership and teamwork skills are necessary as I lead and assist lectures and lab procedures.

In order to properly fulfill this role, I had to maintain both physical and digital filing systems and learned to create a more efficient filing process. I scheduled approximately 15 appointments daily and maintained calendars for the entire campus staff. I directed external communications to proper channels, including 50+ daily telephone calls, emails, mail, and walk-in clients. This job allowed me to learn and demonstrate my time management skills and my ability to easily form personal relationships with clients. I preserved current client relationships and was able to establish new connections and clients. Working part-time as a receptionist, around 25 hours a week, and balancing a part-time job as a waitress allowed me to develop time management skills.

During my time at Southern Roots, I began as a waitress and a barista and worked my way up to assistant manager. As a new business, there were still many developments being made and I was able to assist in many new processes, including technical support and creating additional social media platforms in order to boost sales. I ensured the proper training for all staff, including waitresses, baristas, and line cooks. I was awarded Employee of the Month on multiple occasions for customer satisfaction and overall management.
