I also work to identify and develop weekly learning strategies, tutoring plans, and individualized educational plans for approximately 5 students.Because I tutor business-related courses, I must know how to properly relay in-depth topics to the students I work with. While working at PepsiCo, I had the opportunity to work on-site at the Atlanta production plant. I spent the first few weeks on a rotational program throughout the entire plant. I was able to carry out the rest of my internship specializing in warehouse optimization. My team allowed me to achieve my White Belt in Lean Six Sigma which I used to create strategies that effectively ordered products to increase efficiency and reach target KPIs. By creating inventory counts and using sales and shipping data, I was able to create a pick optimization strategy that will increase on-time and in-full shipments. I also spent much of my time learning about the company and its environment. To better understand my role and increase my hands-on experience, I worked to earn my forklift certification to use in my daily work.
