Manage a portfolio of accounts, plan and implement campaign activities that focus on increasing revenue and employee engagement year round. Design and develop tailored engagement opportunities for volunteers, donors and potential donors to showcase United Way’s work in the community. Plan and execute signature fundraising events including annual golf.

Drive in-kind and monetary gifts to the organization. Conduct donor research to build community partnerships and broaden donor and volunteer base.

Research, write and post stories for blogs, social sites, websites and other platforms.Draft news releases, FAQs and talking points.Create marketing collateral (fliers, posters, graphics), working with Public Information Officer.

This position exposed me to the planning and solicitation side of fundraising. This position offered a hands on experience and basic understanding of donor relations. Some of my responsibilities included training and managing a team of callers, generating pledge reports and securing funds for clients.
