My passion is in hospitality. Hello, my name is Brooklyn MacDonald and I’m studying Hospitality and Tourism Management with minors in Psychology and Anthropology. I’m on the path to expand my knowledge in the hospitality field, and discover innovative ways to improve this global industry. I have lived in 4 countries, connected with people from over 30 countries, and am culturally sensitive. Being from Canada, I have the opportunity to study in a different country and work with others from all over the world. Connecting with many individuals and their unique cultures has expanded my ability to understand and connect with others. I started my studies at BYU-Idaho where I found my strengths are in Hospitality. I transferred to BYU-Hawaii for the Hospitality and Tourism program and opportunities to thrive in the field.Served as a representative for The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Caribbean, where I dedicated 70 hours a week to the communities there. I learned how to adapt to a foreign culture and counties and gave service to others in the various communities throughout Barbados and St. Maarten.
